Q. Where can I get directions to the seminar?
A. We suggest using an online “Driving Directions” service such as MapQuest or Yahoo Maps. You can also call the hotel and request directions from your location.

Q. At what time does the seminar start? When does it end?
A. Registration and Continental Breakfast start at 8:00 a.m. The seminar starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. The seminar ends at 4:00 p.m.

Q. How many Continuing Education (CE) credits can I earn by attending the seminar?
A. “It’s What’s Up Front That Counts” and “Teams That Work” each earn 5.5 CE credits; “Smart Moves For Technicians” earns 6.5 CE credits.
Please check with your state or organization to determine if CE credits will be awarded, as requirements vary between states and organizations. Click here for more information.

Q. Are the hotel and meal costs included in the seminar registration fee?
A. No, hotel and meal costs are not included. Your registration fee covers the seminar, all student materials, and the continental breakfast at the seminar.

Q. Can I purchase the seminar materials separately?
A. No, the seminar materials are only available to seminar attendees.

Q. Are there special hotel room rates for seminar attendees?
A. No. Due to the nature of our seminars, there is no special room block arrangement with the hotel.

Management Tools:

Q. When will I receive my order?
A. Orders are normally shipped the day they are received via standard UPS ground service at no additional charge. You should receive your order in 7 to 10 business days. If you require your order sooner, please call our office at 303-674-8169 at the time you place your order to arrange special delivery. There will be an additional fee for delivery other than standard UPS ground service.

Q. Are the Management Tools files available as downloads?
A. No – due to the large number of files, they are not available as downloads.

Q. In what formats will I receive the Management Tools?
A. All files have been produced with the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel and Publisher, as appropriate to document type. In addition, all files are provided in PDF format. The Management Tools set includes a CD-ROM that contains electronic copies of all files.

Q. Are the Management Tools forms customizable?
A. Yes, if you have the Microsoft Suite of programs. The PDF files cannot be customized. The Suite documents can be opened in Word, Excel or Publisher and customized for your practice.

Q. Can I purchase individual Management Tools modules?
A. No. The Management Tools set is comprehensive and modules are designed to complement one another. The entire package is exceptionally priced to help you be more successful in your practice in all areas.

Q. Will there be updates for the Management Tools?
A. Updates will be available as a stand-alone package for separate purchase in the future.

Software:

Q. What kind of a schedule can I make with the Scheduling Software?
A. The program is set up to make a one-week schedule. Many people choose to save multiple one-week schedules on their computer. Each schedule is shown in a visual format for each day of the week, as well as suggested totals based on guidelines you provide from your practice traffic. You’ll be able to identify under-staffed time periods, as well as overtime requirements.

Q. Are there any budgeting features in the Scheduling Software?
A. Yes. Based on salaries and wages, costs can be projected for each one-week schedule. This will provide you with a picture of the effects of your scheduling over a period of time, including overtime expenses.

Q. Do I need a program on my computer to use the Scheduling Software?
A. Yes, you need Microsoft Excel to use the Scheduling Software. It is a spreadsheet with programmed macros written to be run in Excel, not a stand-alone application.

Q. Will the Scheduling Software run on a PC?
A. Yes, the Scheduling Software is written to run in Microsoft Excel on a PC.

Q. Will the Scheduling Software run on a Mac?
A. It depends – it will run on a Mac if your Mac is able to read PC CD-ROMs and has Microsoft Excel installed.
